FitBloggin is wrapping up. Everyone is heading home with loads of swag. I have so much to process, think about and write about. For now, here are a few hijacked pictures of my adventures. (I left my camera cord at home)
I did Crossfit. If you look at the big picture, I’m in a pink tank top just to the right of the center of the pic, jut above the head of the orange tee shirt near the foreground. All-in-all, I worked out for SIX minutes, and I was sore and sweaty and gross. Crossfit is NO JOKE, and now I’m interested. I also did yoga that morning, but I don’t think anyone got pics.
I also took a nice long walk at lunch time on Friday, which included heading out with Kyra and Jen for some pink lemonade ice from Ritas on the harbor. It was nice to get some fresh air, and SO good to have some quiet time with the girls. We walked and talked until our feet hurt.
For dinner Friday night, a bunch of us headed out for a true adventure that included walking ten times as far as we’d planned, into a sketch area of the city, only to discover the place we wanted to go was closed! It was still sort of fun…
I also had an absurdly fun time doing one of the hardest workouts I’ve ever done with JumpSport. Dude. So hard. SO FUN.
We laughed a lot. I also spent two of the sessions doing the ugly cry, which I’ll talk more about when I’ve gotten the chance to wrap my head around them a little more.
By far the best session in terms of exercise for me though? Zumba led by Sue and Sam. I don’t think I’ve seen pics of that with me in them, but it was AWESOME. I had so much fun.
Last night was the reception, where I actually got all dressed up then promptly forgot to take a picture. Amy got this great one of us though, so at least it’s something.
This morning I walked the 5K with Meegan, my run buddy. She wasn’t feeling the run and I wanted to stick with her, so we walked fast instead. It was a beautiful morning for it, out by the harbor, so I think it was well worth it. Now I’m just hanging out in the hotel, taking the time to blog stalk all my new friends until Aaron comes to get me.
More soon!

Love that we met! Thanks for being my partner in Cross Fit and being there throughout the weekend for support and a shoulder and just to laugh with. So Much Fun! You looked fantastic last night! I have a feeling we should have talked more, though….I definitely am thinking you are a kindred spirit. Looking forward to being connected and moving (mostly) forward with all of my new friends! I’ll look for you on MFP…I use it too. Am also wearing that Reebok shirt….it is kind of awesome, right?
We’ll definitely keep track of each other now! I’m still wearing my Reebok shirt, though now it’s got dinner on it…
So glad I got to meet you!! I heard so many people say Zumba was amazing… I was in the trampoline session, and didn’t do it, but I’m glad you loved it. That Reebok shirt is definitely awesome!
Girl I am so happy you came this year! I loved getting to lay eyes on that hot ass of yours again!
Not gonna lie, you kinda made me want to be a Zumba instructor too. You’re just so… hot.
I had such a good time hanging out with you this week. Walking around the harbor for the afternoon with you and Jen was definitely a highlight!
I just snagged your picture from the crossfit session for a photo montage I’m putting together from last year. FitBloggin is one of the sponsors for my event (http://fitwithflair031213.eventbrite.com/) next week.
