C25K - Meegan & MeI was really worried about this morning’s run. It was a three minute run, then a five minute run, then repeat. Even as I stepped onto the treadmill this morning, even as I finished the first three minute run, I wasn’t sure I could do it.

And then? I DID IT. I ran five minutes. TWICE.

If the way I felt afterward is any indication, I now look exactly like that picture down there. I felt like a 100% SUPERHERO. I was literally laughing on the treadmill, which earned me some weird looks from the random guys who showed up this morning.

So week 4? I got this. Suddenly, I’m just a teeny, tiny bit less terrified of week 5. Suddenly, and without warning, this whole C25K thing seems… doable. That thought, in turn, has me feeling excited about running again. I’m wondering if I could really do it… if I couldbe a runner. I like the concept.

  1. So awesome! I’m crazy proud of you for sticking with it and giving fear the finger and just going for it! And now look at you! You’re going to conquer week 5 now no problem especially with some of the intimidation out of the way. Double high fives from me!
