The Lean Green Bean

In a move of potential randomness, I joined the Foodie Penpals! I figured it would be a super exciting way to try out new stuff and share some of my favorites… so here’s my stash from My Healthy Nest!

Foodie Penpal - JuneI specifically requested healthier stuff, and I was SO pleased with what I got.

I only got one bite of the awesome organic strawberry fruit leathers, since Evi claimed the rest immediately. The granola (strawberry vanilla) was completely incredible and something we all shared.The Justin’s nut butters (chocolate hazelnut and honey almond) both became afternoon snacks for me at work. The shortbread (in the middle) was amazing, and Evi’s been putting the wild flower honey on EVERYTHING.

My favorite though? The CLIF bars! I’d never tried them before, and now they’ve become a staple for me! So thanks Robyn for an awesome first month of Foodie Penpals! I can’t wait to pack up my box for this month. I sent out a box too, but the recipient isn’t a blogger so I’m just hoping she liked her package and maybe she’ll stop by with a comment too!

C25K - Meegan & MeC25K Week 3

I started week 3 of C25K this morning! I was a little worried this morning when I realized that every other run interval was three minutes (I’d thought it was 2) but I powered through and… it was fun? Really, it was fun! I genuinely enjoyed it, and now I’m looking forward to the rest of the week and even to next week.
