I know I already put this on my sidebar… but I feel the need to repost it.
I am so, SO excited! I’m lucky enough to have been chosen as one of the LiveBloggers for the conference, which means I’ll basically be producing real-time transcripts of the sessions I’m chosen to attend. I am ridiculously happy about this. I had such an INCREDIBLE time at FitBloggin’10, and it did amazing things for my motivation and fitness progress. I bought a ticket right away for FitBloggin’11, but then I was too financially strapped to be able to hold onto it and ended up selling it. When the tickets went up for sale this year, I knew I wouldn’t be able to afford one, but started trolling for giveaways and other chances to get there.
This year I’m in a MUCH better, healthier, and more consistent place than I was two years ago. I am crazysuperawesomefunky excited about the potential to make even bigger changes, fire up new motivations, make new friends, and reconnect with old ones at this year’s conference. Sadly, I won’t be able to get there in time for the Thursday mixer. If I can find a roommate, I’ll be checking into the hotel late Thursday night, coming straight from a work event. I will, however, be at the conference for the entire rest of the weekend including staying for any extra activities on Sunday.
